Biography
I am a trust engineer. My mission is to inspire people to listen, believe in each other, and come together to navigate complexity. I have found my meaning as a marketing and communication leader when helping people work collectively toward an initiative that serves the greater good. Recognizing that poor communication – not character – is at the root of most controversy, I am studying social capital to better understand how social fabric unites us. My dream is to systematize trust building in the initiative management process. I want to provide proponents of new ideas with a set of research-informed principles, strategies, and digital-age tools that level up stakeholder engagement and set the stage for a unifying outcome. Every community, public institution, and private enterprise should be in the business of stronger bonds and unifying outcomes. When we believe in our intentions and the goodwill of others, the initiative management process becomes both a path to a milestone – a policy launch or ribbon cutting – and a chance to build social capital and trust.
