Biography

Bruno V. Manno is Senior Adviser for Education with the Walton Family Foundation. Prior to that he was Senior Associate for Education with the Annie E. Casey Foundation. He has held other senior positions with nonprofit K-12 organizations. He also served as US Assistant Secretary of Education for Policy, in addition to other senior positions in the US Department of Education between 1986 and 19992. He is the author or co-author of several books and numerous articles and an Emeritus Director of The Thomas B, Fordham Foundation and Institute.
